Pete Rock Plans New Album, “NY’s Finest”

We just got word that the soul brother Pete Rock is in the midst of working on his latest album for Nature Sounds, entitled NY’s Finest. It is going to be entirely made up of Pete Rock’s beats, with New York-ish emcee’s like Redman, Papoose, MF Doom, Jim Jones, Wu-Tang, and many others. Pete will also lend his vocals to five tracks. NY’s Finest is scheduled for release this summer.
